Truck Day is finally here. The 18-wheeler that transports Red Sox’ spring training equipment from Boston to Fort Myers, Fla. will depart from Gate D at Fenway Park at 1 p.m. today to begin a 1,467-mile trek to the team’s spring training facility.
Along with all of the training gear, a box of e-mails containing well-wishes from fans will also make its way to Fort Myers, hopefully bringing the Red Sox good luck for the 2009 season.
