Alaska state troopers have arrested the mother of Bristol Palin’s boyfriend on six drug counts, The Globe and Mail reports.
Sherry Johnston was taken into custody Thursday after troopers searched her home on a warrant. ‚
The 42-year-old mother was subsequently charged, and then later released on $5,000 bail from a Palmer, Alaska prison. ‚ The name of the drug found has not been released by authorities.
Her 18-year-old son, Levi Johnston, is the boyfriend of Bristol Palin, the daughter of Alaska governor and former Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin. ‚ During the campaign, the world learned that her daughter was pregnant with Johnston’s child.
Personally, I feel bad for Levi. ‚ The guy’s had a bad year.
