There is no Scrabulous in America today.

Facing a lawsuit, the developers of one of the most popular activities on Facebook have shut down the Scrabulous game for American and Canadian users.

Hasbro filed its lawsuit on Thursday against brothers Rajat and Jayant Agarwalla and their company, RJ Softwares.

In its lawsuit, Hasbro asserts that Scrabulous violates its copyright and trademark rights. Hasbro has also asked Facebook to block the game on the website. Facebook, on its end, said they did not force Scrabulous to come down, but the developers themselves decided to remove the game in the face of the pending litigation.

A lot of people are going to be that much more bored at work today.
