The Bonnaroo Festival was not all love and peace this Year. On Sunday, June 15, crowds unleashed rock attitude against Kanye West for walking onto the festival stage nearly two hours past his scheduled 2:45 a.m. performance time for Sunday morning. He was greeted with chants of "Kanye sucks" as he sang and unacknowledged the audience.

West was meant to go on stage at 8:15 p.m., but because he wanted to make the most of his Glow-in-the-Dark Tour’s lighting show, his camp asked to push back the gig to 2:45 a.m. following Pearl Jam’s show. That band did not wrap things up until 1:15 a.m. and with the extended break to change and arrange stages things were not ready until 4 a.m.

Festival organizers only posted a message via Jumbotron that the rapper wouldn’t be taking the stage until 3:15 a.m., then 3:30. When 4:15 a.m. rolled around and still no West, the crowd began throwing their glow sticks at the stage and screaming anti-West sentiments. When he finally made his entrance any attendees had gone to their tents to sleep, and many were dissatisfied with the show itself.

According to bloggers his performance was not even as great as expected out of the 150 acts performing at the four-day fest. There have been no comments from West’s camp but surely the artist will rethink his attitude next time he decides to make an "entrance."
