Beyonce took home the American Music Awards International Artist Award November 18 and became the first female artist in history to receive the honor.

This puts her in league with the only five artists who have previously received the International Artist Award: Elton John, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart and Aerosmith.

Usher presented the award saying, “With gifts as big and generous as nature, a voice that touches the heart of everyone who hears it, a smile that can light up a stadium, she is something rare and special. In a world of divas and superstars, there is only one Beyonce.”
