Sony keyed us in on their upcoming titles. Below is a listing of what’s coming for PS2, PS3 and PSP for the holidays.

There are some beauties coming out for the rest of the year, but scroll down and look at how many games are coming out for PS2 – that’s Playstation Two. There have been several B-list titles canceled, but the continued viability of the last generation console shows just how strong the platform has been through the years. But more importantly, it calls attention to Playstation 3’s delay at the starting gate.

It took PS2 about two years to take off, but that generation of video game platforms was a lot different than the current one. Xbox was basically Halo, Gamecube never got off the ground and Playstation 2 had strong exclusive titles that helped lift it.

The big story this time is the Nintendo Wii’s explosive early success — despite an arguably weak game lineup that’s about to blow up this fall.

It wouldn’t come as a shock to see the price of the PS3 fall. Sony has to sell a ton of PS3’s to Santa Claus.

But anyway, here are the games…
