10:55 ABC News is reporting that Osama bin Laden is dead. Waiting on an official announcement from President Barack Obama.

11:02 ABC News says, “He was the most hated man in America.”

11:03 There was a 25 million dollar award for Osama bin Laden. No one has come forward to claim it yet.

11:04 30 percent of Americans thought that Osama bin Laden would never be captured or killed, according to ABC News.

11:05 Families of the people who died in the terrorist attacks of 2001 have been waiting for this news for a decade.

11:05 The last tapped message that Osama bin Laden sent threatening Americans was in March of this year.

11:06 This is going to be a political boost for President Obama.

11:11 They have the body in custody. They have to do a DNA test on it. The government has his sister’s brain for the test.

11:17 Throughout the government people are ecstatic. Some are calling it one of the greatest days in history for the entire country.

11:18 If he was killed in Pakistan, the question is now who has been protecting him.

11:21 Osama bin Laden taunted President Obama and President Bush. So many people believed he could never be caught or killed.

11:22 Just confirmed that US ground forces were involved. All around him were killed.

11:24 The operation took nine days. The soldiers have just now left.

11:25 There are concerns about suicide attacks now. The reaction in Pakistan is not going to be the same as it is in the US.

11:28 Reports are saying that this happened several days ago. The DNA has been checked and double checked. The US is sure that Osama bin Laden has been killed.

11:32 Richard Clarke, news correspondent says, “This is exactly what President Obama said he would do.”

11:33 People are starting to gather and sing the National Anthem and chanting U-S-A outside of the White House.

11:34 Osama bin Laden was shot. Killed in a mansion by US forces.

 11:35 President Obama speaking now.

11:36 President Obama says, “September 11, 2001 in our time of grief the American people came together…we reaffirmed our ties to each other…We were united as one American family. We were also united in our resolve to protect our nation.”

11:37 President Obama paraphrased: Shortly after taking office I directed the head of the CIA to make capturing Osama bin Laden a top priority. Last August I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It took many months to run the mission. Finally last week I determined we had enough intelligence to take action. Today at my direction the United States operated a target operation. No Americans were harmed. Avoided civilian casualties.  Marks the most significant achievement to date in our efforts against Al Qaeda. Our efforts are not over. “The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam.” “The American people did not chose this fight; it came to our shores.” “Justice has been done.”

11:45 President Obama paraphrase continued: Tonight let us think back to the sense of unity that we felt on 9-11. The cause of securing our country is not complete. But tonight we are once again reminded that America can do whatever we set our minds to do. “Let us remember that we can do these things not because of wealth or power, but because of who we are: one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.”

11:46 Osama bin Laden was killed not far from the capitol of Pakistan.

11:50 Now there are concerns about what may be triggerred because of his death. Counterattacks are a possibility. The security is probably being increased around government buildings.

11:58 September 11 attacks were not the only attacks by Al Qaeda. They are also responsible for the 1998 bombings of the US Embassys in Tanzania and Kenya.

If Obama wanted to retain any dignity at all he would have apologized for his stance towards Gitmo and interrogation there. Everything he has promoted in the way of intelligence gathering would have made this event impossible.

I’m guessing he’s not going to retain any dignity.

I suspect that when pressed on the issue, the president will concede that his stance on Gitmo, if realized, would have hindered the operation or rendered it impossible. I don’t think apologizing for that in the face of the more important news was a top priority. Nor was belaboring the point of taking credit for the successful mission (he only stated that it was under his order). I guessed that FOX and their groupies would immediately seek a way to spin this against Obama the second I heard the news, and that ilk rarely disappoints. FOX was saying pretty much the same thing rickg did, only they at least seem to have decency enough to tone down the vitriol in light of the indisputable GOOD news that UBL is dead. Still, the day is young. I’m sure their never-ending Obama-bashing will gather steam as the day progresses.

The US troops are theones who should be getting all recognition much of the people who dont know anything about Barack believe that this was all his doing but this foreseen act was set back in response to the 9/11 attack. It is sad that everyone believes that Barack did this when he ran on the ideology of getting the troops out of the war and now he is seen as the great diplomat who is now getting all the recognition. The truth is barack never had any authority over seas because he doesnt care about those policies

A festering scab on the integrity of America.

Granddaddy established the vast family fortune by laundering NAZI WW2 booty. Daddy was in the darkest corners of CIA during Vietnam, BOP, MK and Kennedy to name a few. Daddy blatantly perverted American justice and law by stealing the election from Gore. Junior blatantly lied to the world about WMD in order to STEAL funding from the trusting American people and to gain international support. Junior murdered 10s of thousands of innocent women and children with no justification. Junior committed genocide by ordering the use of depleted uranium. Junior entertained Rothschild overnight in the Whitehouse around the time of 911. These are some of the absolute worst crimes against humanity in world history. Combine these crimes with the worldwide military and economic crimes that are the aftermath of 911 and you have the most hideously evil criminals in our history. Find out if the Rothschilds operate at the behest of their clients or autonomously, take the resultant name and put it next to the name Bush and you have the two key parties responsible for 911 and the aftermath.

The proof is readily available for anyone caring to discover it. Before the next murderous instalment on our brothers and sisters through the war on terror we need to cut away this cancer from society once and for all. We need to remember that the strongest force on earth is the numbers of population. These evil people cannot go unpunished unless you allow it. Before we decide on the appropriate action we should hold one image in our mind. The image of innocent people, average decent folk, patriotic people, church going people ALL BEING FORCED TO JUMP TO THEIR DEATH FROM A HIGH RISE BUILDING IN ORDER TO AVOID BEING BURNED ALIVE.
