Before E3: Konami to release sequel to ‘Elebits’

July 12, 2008

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has announced that they are currently developing Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, the sequel to Elebits, exclusively for Nintendo DS. The game, slated to be released in the fall, allows players to find, capture and befriend the tiny creatures known as Elebits.

The Elebits serve as energy sources in the far-off world they inhabit, and hold magical powers and the ability to complete puzzles and quests the player will encounter along their journey. Using the Elebits’ unique powers, players can solve puzzles, reveal hidden paths, freeze flowing water, turn darkness into light, levitate rocks, and much more.

Players can compete against up to four of their friends using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Konami is a leading developer, publisher and manufacturer of electronic entertainment properties. Konami’s titles include the popular franchises Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, DanceDanceRevolution and Castlevania, among other top sellers.
