According to a USDA report released on Friday, Michael Vick placed family pet dogs into the ring with his trained pit bulls and laughed as the dogs “caused major injury” to the pets at Bad Newz Kennels.

The report provides new insight into the sadistic and vicious happenings at 1915 Moonlight Rd., where Vick operated the kennel along with his friends Tony Taylor, Purnell Peace and Quanis Phillips.

According to the report, “Vick, Peace and Phillips thought it was funny to watch the pit bull dogs belonging to Bad Newz Kennels injure or kill the other dogs.”

The report states that in mid-April of 2007, Vick, Peace and Phillips hung approximately three dogs who did poorly in a “rolling session,” which lets you know if a dog is ready to be in combat. According to the report, the three men hung the dogs “by placing a nylon cord over a 2 X 4 that was nailed to two trees located next to the big shed. They also drowned approximately three dogs by putting the dogs’ heads in a five gallon bucket of water.”

I would love to know why there is even speculation that this man could receive the pleasure and privilege of playing in the National Football League again. Please, someone tell me, and don’t give me this “everyone gets a second chance” crap.

He funded and ran an illegal dog-fighting operation. I’m no PETA person, but that is reprehensible. He killed dogs that couldn’t fight and derived extreme pleasure in watching dogs get injured and/or killed. This isn’t a “mistake.” This isn’t something you say “sorry” for. You say you are sorry when you bump into someone, not when you exhibit a pattern of behavior like this.

He did all these things, and on top of it, he lied to Roger Goodell’s face about it. Michael Vick should never set foot on an NFL football field again. Period.

Is he sorry? Of course he is. He’s sorry he thoroughly pissed away the high life. He didn’t all of a sudden see why torturing animals is despicable. You don’t really believe that, do you? He’ll say and do all the right things to try to get his life back, but in the end, he’ll always be the same scum bag.

Oh, and in a few days, he’s going to plead guilty to two more charges relating to dog fighting on the state level, but won’t do any more time due to the terms of his plea deal. Explain that one to me.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I’M STILL A MICHAEL VICK FAN, HE IS HUMAN, AND HE DOES DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE. IT’S NOT LIKE HE’S A MASS MURDERER, NOT TO CONDONE HIS ACTIONS, BUT HE IS NOT THE FIRST PERSON TO COMMITT THIS TYPE OF CRIME. HE’S STILL SOMEONE’S SON, AND BROTHER, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, HE IS A CHILD OF GOD, LIKE IT OR NOT. STAY UP MIKE VICK, WE STILL LOVE YOU IN THE A-TOWN..

I live in A-Town, for over 30 years. Michael Vick should never, ever be allowed to play for ANY FOOTBALL TEAM AGAIN. I’m a dog lover first, and there are millions more of me all over the US. We despise VIck, and will NEVER forget his 8 years of torturing dogs for fun. He can get out of jail, and go get a job. But no NFL team should be stupid enough to think for a second there won’t hundreds of protesters at every game Vick tries to play in. Then inside the domes, his team will be pelted with stuffed dog’s covered in red paint. There will be a massive boycott of whatever company tries to manufacture ANYTHING related to VICK. That is a fact. There are a few thousand ignorant fans of Vick left, and there are millions of dog lovers. Who do you want to keep as customers NFL, Nike, etc???? Joey Brooks is next if he doesn’t shut up.

While it repulses me, I could almost see how Vick saw what he was doing as a Sport, sort of like the cock fighting that is acceptable and ingrained in some cultures. Even if outlawed, I could grasp how someone could still do it.

But putting a FAMILY PET in the ring to get maimed for giggles and laughs??

No excuses left….he’s evil; he’s an out and out sadist. Makes you understand the type of folks who rose to the top in Nazi Germany.

I agree, he does not deserve to be let back in the NFL. I dose deserve to have emplyment though when he gets out of prision. What that work might consist of is anyone quess.

What I find just a bizarr is how dose someone go through $130 million in 10 years and have nothing to show for it. I mean, how can you even spend that much money phisically. It is hard to believe.

Personally I don’t see what the big deal is. Pit Bulls are routinely put to sleep in communities around Washington, D.C. where city and county ordnances ban this breed of dog. Perhaps more humane, but still killing Pit Bulls. While folks may celebrate the downfall of a black professional for his involvement in the killing of some silly dogs, there will always be more black professionals in his shadows ready to step forward and make the mega dollars.

Why do people always have to bring race into this issue? This is not about race, people! This is about a man who trained and fought dogs to fight and kill other dogs. That is inhumane and saddistic. Serial killers have a pattern of torturing innocent animals before they go onto killing humans.

Vick does not deserve a second chance! He deserves to rot in in a prison cell and suffer for what he did to those poor dogs.

And to all those pit bull haters out there, if it was truly the dog, then why have all the “Vick” dogs that were rescued done so well in the hands of caring and responsible individuals? Tell me, if pit bulls are really the killers that people make them out to be, then why is one of the “Vick” dogs a certified therapy dog?

All of you PETA freaks should go slaughter a cow and eat the meat. You people are completley off your rocker. Go get real jobs and stop protesting everywhere. People don’t care what you think you liberal Obama loving freaks. Let the man play football if he wants he has payed his debt to society now leave him be.

I hate PETA and I HATE VICK even more. DO NOT LET HIM PLAY FOOTBALL! He’ll tarnish the NFL’s already diminishing “good” image.

Vick is a mass murder, he killed many innocent dogs. I have two Dogs, one is a pitbull, and their lives hold more value to me than his does. One of Vicks dogs is a therapy dog now, it contributes more to society than he does. Dogs around the world contribute to society more than vick, doing search and rescue, therapy and police work. And yet some thug that can play a childs game, running and throwing a ball holds more value to you that dogs that do REAL work? He should be hung slowly like the dogs he killed. I’m no PETA supporter and I think much of their philosophy is pretty far out there. But I do know that my dogs and most others are less of animals that Vick.

    Wow.

At the end of our lives, at the gate with the Great Spirit, will be all the animals we have ever encountered and they will decide who gets in and who gets turned away.

My Hopi Indian friend, a shaman, told me and my dad, who used to play in the NFL back in the day when the NFL had class and the players were fun, not totally demonic and walking amongst us.

He used to say that animals have good energy, what the white man perceives as angels and that is why devil people hurt them.

Michael Vick is no human being. May he always be haunted by all the animals/angels that he hurt and laughed at their suffering!

Welcome to America where we allow junk like that to prosper financially.

Question to the NFL: What’s it like to fully endorse animal torture by bringing this evil man back?

I am from Cincinnati. If Pete Rose has been kept out of baseball AND the baseball hall of fame all of theses years for GAMBLING, which causes no bodily harm to any creature AND is not a hallmark of a sociopath, then this sadistic, sociopathic, cruel and unnatural creature which does not deserve to join the ranks of normal humanity should NEVER be allowed NEAR any pro sport again.
    Gambling vs. sadistically killing animals.
You decide which should be an offense to permanently remove you from a National sport…

Jeffrey Dahmer got his start torturing and killing family pets. There’s a lot of psychology that you take out of someone taking pleasure in killing animals. I think he needs to spend some time in the padded room of a mental institution.

I can’t read stuff like this. It really disturbs me. As much as I dislike PETA, I see what motivates those people. Also, any breed of dog can be tortured and trained to fight. Why even mention the breed in the article? It just adds fuel to the fire.

I like the Pete Rose vs. Michael Vic comparison, BTW.
