Let him rot. If Marbury were that anxious to play, he'd get an agent who might be able to help the Knicks find a team that might want Marbury. I wish they would just waive him, but since they won't, I hope they stop even allowing him to come to the games, to the locker room, and to practices. Just pay him to stay far away from the team. He is poison. He is a petulant, bratty child with delusions of grandeur. He is talented, but that talent has never gotten his teams anywhere. He's simply too immature and self-involved. (But I do worry that the fans might start calling for him more if the Knicks keep losing. Some fans seem to forget what a waste of space Marbury was out on the floor.) The Knicks will likely not be a great team this year, but they will be better than they were last year. And that's good enough for me. Fine. Let him rot.
