Hank Steinbrenner thinking of next year already?

Talk about something you never hear from anyone within the Yankees organization. Hank Steinbrenner actually said the Yankees will eventually get everything straightened out, even if it means doing so next year.
“We’ll get this fixed,” he said. “If not this year, then next year.”
Wow! No one with a payroll as high as the Yanks should ever say something like that in mid-May. We’ll be watching any upcoming moves by the Yankees to see if they do indeed reflect “next year.”
