The other day we told you about how Minecraft’s creator offered to fund Tim Schafer and Double Fine’s Psychonauts 2. Not to be outdone, the fine gaming folks of the internet have raised over $1 million dollars for a new title by the studio via Kickstarter.
Seriously.
The idea of a completely funded major adventure title completely funded by fan money is a pretty cool and revolutionary idea. Shafer also confirmed that a documentary about the game’s development is also under way.
