Electronic Arts’ Los Angeles development studio, EA LA, is hard at work on the Medal of Honor reboot, but gamers got a date to circle today, as EA has announced an October 12, 2010 release date for the title.
The game, which will be set in post-9/11 Afghanistan and will follow the United States military’s most elite faction, the Tier 1 Operators, will arrive October 12 in North America and October 15 in Europe for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
EA LA is handling the game’s single-player campaign efforts while another Electronic Arts studio, famed Swedish multiplayer design studio, EA DICE, will take the reins on the game’s multiplayer component.
