Frank West appearing in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom?

An author on the Shoryuken forums recently delved into the source code on Tatsunoko VS. Capcom character site and what we found is quite interesting.

Deep within the code he found this:

‘images/oncharactor_btn_tekkabla.jpg’

Explanation? Mega-Man Zero, Dead Rising baseball bat wielder Frank West, Yatterman #2, and Joe Asakura, known better as Jason from Battle of the Planets.

For now though, digest the preceeding with a grain of salt as they are but a‚  glorified rumour, but oh man we hope it’s true!

Capcom did however recently reveal Tekkaman Blade for the game. So couple him with the rumoured 5, and you’ve got quite a dandy looking North American lineup for the 2D Wii fighter.
