Battlefield 3 hits stores October 25, open beta launches in September

LOS ANGELES — It was announced today at EA’s press conference that the long anticipated shooter Battlefield 3 will be hitting store shelves on October 25, mere weeks before Modern Warfare 3.

It was also announced that a multi platform open beta would be launched sometime in September.
