Sony Announces “Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker” Walkman

May 12

If I were Sony, I’d ditch the Walkman name, as all it brings to mind is my ancient portable CD player (though it was awesome), but nevertheless the electronics maker is pushing full steam ahead, today announcing a limited edition Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Walkman.

The .mp3 player, officially model NWZ-W252, arrives this June alongside the upcoming PSP game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and comes with the game’s soundtrack on its 2GB hard drive, as well as camouflage pattern, the official MGS stamp and a code good for “original designed characters.”

Look for it this summer in June alongside the game for around $60.
