Mass Effect 2 voice-work done by lots of celebrities

Dec. 10, 2009

In an effort to create the most emotionally engaging narrative, Electronic Arts and BioWare today announced they’ve gone out and secured what looks like the most star-studded collection of voice-actors a video game has ever seen.

Here’s the full list of celebrities making appearances in the title.

Martin Sheen (“The West Wing,” “Apocalypse Now,” and lots more)

Seth Green (“Austin Powers,” “Family Guy”)

Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix”)

Emmy Award-winner Shohreh Aghdashloo (“House of Saddam”)

Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin (“Chuck”)

Keith David (“Crash”)

Michael Dorn (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”)

Tricia Helfer, Michael Hogan (“Battlestar Galactica”)

We didn’t think BioWare needed such an impressive lineup to create the level of allure in storytelling the studio is so well known for, but it can’t hurt, can it?

BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka certainly likes the cast.

“Credible, powerful personalities are vital to delivering a compelling story experience in BioWare’s games, and we have assembled an amazing ensemble cast that surpasses the very high bar set in the original Mass Effect!”

Look for Mass Effect 2 exclusively on PC and Xbox 360 in the end of January
