Guitar Hero Van Halen demo hits Xbox Live

Dec. 8, 2009

A demo for Activision’s latest title in the music-game genre “Guitar Hero: Van Halen” came to Xbox Live today for fans of the guitar-shredding, drama-filled music act to enjoy.

GH: Van Halen was made available, for free and for a limited time, to those who purchased Guitar Hero 5, and we already reviewed the full game, but if you need to feel for yourself, the demo should do just fine.

Included in the demo is an eclectic yet profound trifecta of tunes including Van Halen’s “Panama,” Weezer’s “Dope Nose” and Killswitch Engage’s “The End of Heartache.”

My goodness, in all seriousness, I love all three bands and songs. Considered this downloaded.
