Motion-controlled Resident Evil 5 coming as DLC

Nov. 10, 2009

Capcom today announced that a motion-controlled “Alternate” version of Resident Evil 5 will come to North America and Europe as paid downloadable content.

That’s right, Capcom, who made the decision based on a poll which ran for the past few weeks, will not package the “Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition” in its own retail box, rather they’ll sell it on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network digitally.

So hold on to your precious Resident Evil 5 discs, because come “Spring 2010″ you’ll need it to slay your enemies in an all new motion-controlled manner.
