Charles Martinet, the man you know for his famous “It’s-a-mee-Mario!” exclamation, today confirmed that Nintendo is working on a new Mario game.

As is a growing trend, Martinet made the following announcement via micro-blog site Twitter.

“Awesome new Mario Game! And it’s not NSMB Wii, and it’s not Galaxy 2, but it’s going to be crazy fun!”

This revelation is nice, yes, but if Nintendo wasn’t working on a new Mario title, well, that’d be a hot bit of news!
