Viva Pinata soundtrack out next week

July 22, 2009

Sumthing Else Digital Works today announced that Viva Pinata is the latest game to receieve the soundtrack treatment joining the ranks of Resident Evil 5, the Halo series, MadWorld, and oh so many more, in the video game music continuum.

Available July 28 on iTunes and through the Sumthing Digital online music store, the Viva Pinata soundtrack will set you back $10, but comes brimming full of original music composed by Grant Kirkhope (Banj0-Kazooie, Banjoe-Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark and Grabbed by the Ghoulies) and performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Viva Pinata I remember, from Microsoft in-house studio RARE was one of the darned cutest games I’d ever played, and the music was quite fitting.
