Activision today announced the Renegade Edition version of the impending DJ Hero video game due out this fall, and with it comes a number of limited items.
First off, in addition to the DJ Hero software, you’ll receive a “premium renegade turntable controller,” a sturdy looking hardshell case that transforms into a stand to scratch until your fingers bleed with, and a 2 CD pack featuring unreleased tracks from Jay-Z and Eminem.
The buffed turntable looks pretty stylish with its metal controls and gold finish, and the stand does look “performance ready,” but I believe I’m going to have to build another room in my place for all my faux-instruments.
Activision made no mention of an upper-tier price point, which is likely the case, and as the game currently retails for $119, you can expect something north of that figure and likely below $200.
