Microsoft and Bungie today announced that Sargeant Avery Junior Johnson will be available in FireFight Mode from Day 1 for those who pre-order from participating retailers.
In Halo 3: ODST’s new game more FireFight, waves of increasingly difficult enemies will face off against you and your squad of ODST mates. Sounds like Horde from Gears of War 2? Yeah, we know, but that certainly doesn’t make it any less awesome.
Fans of the Halo universe are likely puzzled at Sgt Johnson’s inclusion, as he undeniably died in the events of Halo 3 November 2552, but a second life is the greatest way to make up for lost time killing all sorts of Covenant scum.
As far as availability is concerned, we’ll likely learn more regarding “participating retailers” in the very near future, as ODST’s September 22 release date inches closer and closer.
