E3 2009: Alan Wake is indeed alive and arriving spring 2010

June 1

Finnish developer Remedy began work on Alan Wake in 2005, and as it stands today, half-way through 2009, many thought the game went the way of the dodo.  Extinct. Gone. Forever.

But no, revealed this morning at the Microsoft media briefing was the man so many thought was lost, to never be seen again.  However, a lengthy trailer, in its glorious entirety was shown to media types this morning and needless to say, we could not be more excited.

That said however, we didn’t see too much.  Only dark, ominous locations, a third person point of view, and the flashlight wielding Mr. Wake himself traversing scary landscapes.  The game is promised to “see the light of day” spring 2010. You know, unless it gets delayed or something.
