Prepare to get floored as Electronic Arts and Criterion Games set a date and a price for Burnout Paradise’s first batch of massive DLC today by the name of Big Surf Island.

The release date? This Thursday, June 11. The price? $12.99 on the PlayStation Network, which equals 1000 MS Points for Xbox Live gamers.

Notable additions by way of the DLC, and they should be valuable at the given price, include new challenges, epic jumps, nine new vehicles and absolutely, most importantly Big Surf Island itself, the brand spankin’ new drivable environment.

Decide for yourself if the $12.99 price tag is too much to stomach, but I would not be surprised at all to see Big Surf Island ripping up the sales charts in the very near future.
