Street Fighter IV original soundtrack dated

May 21

Remember that Capcom/Sumthing Else agreement that promised to bring the music of famous Capcom franchises to your ears by way of soundtrack?  The first title to receive the music treatment is Street Fighter IV, as announced by Sumthing Else today.

The original soundtrack composed by Hideyuki Fukasawa will invade iTunes and retail May 26 as a 2-CD pack of heart-pounding and energetic tunes perfect for reliving those moments of fighting glory.

I love video game soundtracks and have a lengthy iTunes playlist dedicated to the bunch, but with Street Fighter not quite my forte, I may just stick with The Ocarina of Rhyme.

What about you?  What new or classic video game would you love to see treated to a full-scale soundtrack release?
