Fright of the Bumblebees buzzes onto XBLA

May 27

Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Adventures is a four part episode-based title that first began on PC in April with The Fright of the Bumblebees, a harrowing yet hilarious tale set in the equally funny and familiar clay-mation universe of Wallace and Gromit.

Today, via the Xbox Live Arcade, Fright of the Bumblebees was made available for all to enjoy (except if you live in India or Japan) for 800 MS Points/$10.

Xbox 360 gamers catch the shaft a bit from publisher Telltale Games, as they’ll pay $10, as opposed to $8 and change for PC fans, per episode.

Fright of the Bumblebees is a truly first rate adventure experience set in the loveable confines of West Wallaby Street and surrounding areas, and fans of the franchise itching for more cheese-loving, dog-saving fun, would do well to pony up the scratch and pick up this truly wondrous title.

We played, reviewed, and loved both Fright of the Bumblebees and The Last Resort, the second installment (not available on XBL at the moment), and if the port to Xbox 360 went swimmingly, we see no reason why you won’t love it as much as we did.
