E3 to hold charitable events alongside gaming

May 7

This year’s E3 convention is nearly upon us and as hype continues to build for the annual trade show, the Entertainment Software Associate, the group that puts on the event, detailed charity events to be held at the show alongside hopefully the debut of a new PSP.

A press release sent out by the ESA this morning detailed various charitable efforts going down in Los Angeles in June including the following:

  • Pro vs. G.I. Joe gaming competitions in support of U.S. military personnel
  • A t-shirt design contest with some proceeds going to support an L.A.-based homeless mission
  • a Red Cross blood drive

Head on over to E3Expo.com for more info on the show and GiveLife.org to sign up and volunteer to have strangers deplete your life juice using the sponsor code E3.
