Resident Evil 5, the brutal, blood rending, hell bent survivor horror title is all about co-op, but tomorrow when Capcom unleashes the long awaited and highly criticized “Versus” mode, weapon sights everywhere will pull a 180 and aim at each other.

The Versus mode will be available for download tomorrow on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for $4.99 or 400 MS Points respectively and will contain two distinct game-play modes.

In Slayer’s Rule gamers will be challenged to kill as many Majini’s as possible and rack up the most possible points.  Conversely, in Survivor’s Rule players must hunt each other across the wonderfully beautiful environments of Resident Evil 5.
