Emmy-winner Michael Chiklis has been cast in the title role of the CBS comedy “Vince Uncensored,” in a move that all-but guarantees the cancellation of “No Ordinary Family,” just as we’ve been saying.

Chiklis will play Vince, who strives to be more open and honest in his life after a “life-changing experience.”

Chiklis currently stars in “No Ordinary Family,” an ABC show about a family with superpowers. The show has been poorly received by critics, and is one of the least watched shows on ABC, leaving little doubt that the show will be cancelled. Other stars of soon-to-cancelled shows are also jumping ship at ABC, though fans adamantly (and ignorantly?) have sworn the characters may just be getting killed. So perhaps Chiklis’ character is getting killed but “No Ordinary Family” will survive? Not a chance.

I thought the show was okay. Nevertheless, I believe it would have had better viewing if it was on the Syfy Channel. In a different time slot.
