TMZ.com reported yesterday that NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident in Florida.

Today, TMZ.com reports that police say Taylor seemed to have hit another car and a guard rail, then drove away. When they found him standing next to his car, it was missing a wheel, suggesting he may have driven miles without it. No one was injured and shockingly, Taylor appeared to be sober. So sober, in fact, that the cops didn’t perform a sobriety test.

Taylor smiled for his mugshot and was reportedly very cooperative during his arrest. Even though his eyes were bloodshot and he’s been arrested twice on crack-related charges, police were convinced he was sober and he was released on $500 bail.
