Marvel vs. Capcom 2 gets release date

July 9

Capcom just dropped us an e-mail to let us know that the highly anticipated release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 now has a date…at least for Xbox 360 owners. It will release as part of the 360’s “Summer of Arcade” series for 1200 Microsoft Points, which is a total steal if you think about how many quarters you have dumped into this game during your life, or how much you paid for that Dreamcast version on ebay. To celebrate, we’ve got a few screens for you from the game. We’ll let you know if word comes down about the PS3 release date.
