Great article! I'm a product of the 60's & 70's music, living in England for many of those years, so I have noticed the drought of good music over the past 10 years. Hopefully, at least one of these bands will rise to the top and bring some good music to the airwaves. There was no greater music than that of the Beatles, Doors, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc. Our young people need more than the shouting and screaming that some people call music today. Bring on the lyrics that reflect social commentary (eg. Simon & Garfunkel, Dylan)! I think this election has awakened the apathetic among us and hopefully, whoever gets in (Obama, hope hope) will help to turn the music industry around.
