I concur. This is a very well-written article that doesn't simply regurgitate the same Q and As that eisley/sherri is asked all the time. There's a bit of an angle, and it briefly touches on things that haven't really been discussed too much, like the reason for jon leaving, the inspiration behind "Many Funerals," and the kind of music they were listening to at the time. Bravo.
Keep up the good work, Elizabeth Raftery. and thanks for featuring a band as awesome as Eisley!

1) Despite the modesty, I gather there is a LARGE contingent of VERY LOYAL fans in Tyler who I promise you follow Eisley's every move fastidiously and drive many hours to catch their shows. They also still have a very strong and loyal following in Dallas, and sizeable coteries of fans in Austin, Houston, and SA as well. All the "from the middle of nowhere" shtik is either hype or lazy journalism. They really broke out mostly as a Dallas/Deep Ellum band (just a longish commute from Tyler).

2) One of the better articles I've seen on Eisley- the author is either well acquainted or knows someone who is. The selections for the vids are some of the more popular numbers from the back catalogue that represent what their fans know as Eisley, but a reader new to the band should know that it is back material. They are older now and the sound has evolved (whether for the better or for the worse is a matter of debate).
