We’re as letdown as you are, especially because we were calling for it a few weeks ago, but it looks like Twilight will not be shown in IMAX in November.
Blast talked to IMAX spokesman Jackson Myers who confirmed that “The Day the Earth Stood Still” will hit IMAX theaters December 12 while “Madagascar 2″ will extend into early December to fill the gap left by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
So … that whole $20 thing was just‚ a joke right? I don’t owe you all money right?

This sucks twilight comes out right by my birthday. and my birthday wish was to see Twilight in IMAX. People of all ages would have gone to see it. WHere madagascar will only atract young ones. this would have people from the ages of 10-100. Bummer…..Im still hoping for a miracle….

imax did a very good decision for your info.madagascar is well known.more than 3/4th of the population did not know that twilight was made into a movie until the day of its release.and eclipse is in imax 3D so watch it and shut ur f***ing mouth up

To make the assumption that all Twilight readers are gothic, low-self esteem bearing meth addicts is just plain idiotic. Is that to say that all Harry Potter fans, in which I include myself, are cloak-wearing, wand-holding, round-glasses wearing freaks? Obviously, the answer is no. We are all well aware that we are not vampires or wizards; we are not deranged, and we do not need to be medicated, as you have so sweetly suggested. We just enjoy the stories. You don’t have to dress all in black and be impaired to appreciate something that, while may seem strange at first, is beautifully written and captivating.
Everyone who reads does so to escape reality, no matter what sort of literature you’re interested in. Otherwise, why would we waste our time following words on a page?
