Details of 23rd Bond announced

June 12

MGM announced today that Daniel Craig will reprise his role of Ian Felming’s James Bond in the 23rd James Bond film.

The film is currently untitled, but producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced that Peter Morgan (”Frost/Nixon,” “The Queen”), Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade (”Quantum of Solace,” “Casino Royale”) will be the screenwriters. The trio will begin work on the script once they complete their current projects.

A date for the start of production has yet to be announced.

Craig has starred as Bond for the franchise’s past two installments: “Casino Royale” and “Quantum of Solace.”
