I do think George will. However, why not revive both and let George have a spin off as a military doctor? Of course that won't happen because of the egos involved. Why not help the American public to get a better view of the cost of war to those who are the ones who really live it and pay for it? There would be a lot of drama if Izzie lives. She and Alex would have a lot of issues. Let's face it, Alex has some issues. I was extremely disappointed by finale. Mer and Der aren't even married. The whole thing was sad beyond belief and I feel manipulated by the egos behind the series. I don’t think Izzie will stay dead. I do think George will. I would even be willing to accept T.R. Knight still leaving if he really wanted to and recasting him with someone else. His face was so jacked up it could be a possability. Whatever it takes to keep both characters on the show Im for it! But if Shonda Rhimes actually kills both of them I will not watch anymore grey's anatomy after the season premiere next year from day 1 Izzie and George have been the best two characters with the exception of Baily I was all for the save Izzie and if someone has to die let it be George but after last night I cannot express how badly I want them both to live.. I'm claiming THAT'S why I care because if Izzie dies and George lives, the detriment to his character will be too painful to watch. I was angry they hit him with a bus because George has always been a shining light on Grey's, and watching him be shunned out was just depressing. If keeping Izzie alive means keeping George then I am all for it - and that's coming from the person who baked a skull and crossbones cake to celebrate Izzie peacing out. I am officially making "SAVE GEORGE" t shirts. But I have to wonder, would they kill George and keep Izzie? He was the one standing off the elevator, like he was waiting for her, which hinted to me that George had already made the transition and the worried look meant Izzie might go back. It makes me sad that I could imagine Grey's with Izzie living without George, but George having no reason to exist without his best friend. I blame the not-so-subtle writing out of his character all season for this. My hope for season six is that they find some way to make it work, bring George back in all of his 007 glory.
