Magnolia Pictures released the trailer of Stephen Soderbergh’s newest film yesterday:

“The Girlfriend Experience” stars adult film star Sasha Grey in her mainstream flm debut as Chelsea, a Manhattan call-girl who offers her clients companionship and conversation in addition to sex: the girlfriend experience. Set in the weeks leading up to the 2008 presidential election, “The Girlfriend Experience” follows the life of Chelsea for five days as she meets people she might not have been supposed to meet.

Magnolia Pictures will premiere “The Girlfriend Experience” On Demand April 30 and will release it in theaters in LA & NY Friday, May 22.

“The Girlfriend Experience” is Soderbergh’s twentieth film. He is best known as the director of “Traffic,” “Erin Brockovitch” and the “Ocean’s Eleven” series.
