Okay, what I don’t get is why Rob is getting paid so much. Edward’s not really a big part of New Moon.

And I absolutely HATE it when an actor is changed in the middle of a series. Takes away, the realism, if you will, of the movie. It’s like, I wouldn’t want to be replaced as Karee–if that made sense? x]

I’m not going to watch it either if Taylor’s not Jacob…

I certainly hope not im like IN LOVE with Taylor, and im sure the rest of America is also. But i heard that he wasnt coming back because the directer said that Taylor wasnt mature enough to be Jacob in New Moon! I HOPE THATS JUST A RUMOR FOR THREE MAIN REASONS.

1. I love Taylor, hes a great actor.

2.He shaves his hair in the second one, he looks better without the wig. NO OFFENCE BECAUSE HE’S GORGEOUS EITHER WAY

i think taylor is hot and he is perfect for jacob.i read all the twilight books and i wouldnt mind at all if they keep taylor and ditch the whole growing and muscle stuff because replacing with a new actor just makes me so mad.especilly if its for one little reason.

but i am open minded because i believe in following the pattern in stephanie’s book i guess he needs to fit the height…but honestly seeing him would surpass the whole jacob growth spert …blah blah blah…i am interested in the acting…because honestly i disliked kristen….

Are you kidding me? Do they have a brain? Everybody see’s Taylor Lautner as Jacob now, it’s incredibly stupid to even think about replacing him! It’s so confusing, and it drives me crazy, here are all these fans, trying to persuade Summit to keep Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black in New Moon, and it’s like Summit says, ” We don’t give a shit that all the fans want Taylor Lautner, we want someone else”, do they not care about people watching the movie? It’s so friggen stupid. I know that it’s hard to make a person taller and do all that visual effect stuff, and that they have a small budget, but none of the fans care, all we want is Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black. It will totally ruin the whole vision of Twilight for the fans, since now each person who played a character in Twilight is how us fans, imagine the character their playing to be, (if that makes any sense), I personally, don’t get it, but I hope it works out the way it’s meant to be, Taylor Lautner playing Jacob Black.

They can’t recast Jacob. I mean it just wouldn’t work. You see one actor in one movie then a completley different actor in another movie is just not right.

You cant recast any part of the cast now because they are loved as much as the books!! When reading the books I never liked Jacob but Taylor made me like Jacob!! If they recast his character then New Moon wont be the same. Yes the character needs to be taller and be more mature but doesnt mean he should be a totally different person. I agree Taylor is the true Jacob Black and if they recast the character then i will probably go back to not liking JAcob!! And New Moon will truly not be the same with out Taylor!!!!! If they recast Jacob for NEw Moon it will be like recasting Edward in Twilight!! It will not be the same!!!!!!!!! So they need to keep Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black!!!!1

Don’t believe what this article says. Nothing has been confirmed just yet.

For those who are saying that Taylor only portrays Jacob’s ‘immature’ side – Well, actors are versatile. When I first saw Taylor I though he looked like he was in his 20’s! And Jacob didn’t look too ‘immature’ at the end of the Twilight film when he glared at Edward!

It would be so weird now that we’ve got to know Taylor as Jacob, for in New Moon another actor to play his part. Jacob isn’t meant to change appearance entirely! Just be taller, look more mature. Not be a totally different person!

Summit cannot do this ! Taylor was like totally perfect for Jacob !And if what f***ing Ryan Secrast is true, I will literally die.*falling on floor gasping for breath *. I’m not sure if the information you got was exactly accurate.
Taylor in the MTV interview said, it was still up in the air.
Even so, I think it is wrong what they’re doing.
I mean, How can you make so much money,but have little to spend? Also, how are you going to pay robert more then anyone else, when his character is barely in new moon. To be quite honest i really don’t understand how you think Taylor looks young.
My friends and i agree he doesn’t look like 16 years old AT ALL.
He’s has an 8 pack! Though he doesn’t to get a little bigger, but thats it. I don’t agree with replacing him, it would ruin the movie.
To be honest you can live if they change just a little think like him
not being very big for new moon. I mean come on, they can use effects. Unless, they’re really not going to spend much on this film.
I understood the first one being a budget film, but come on this is a big frachise, that made a whole lot of money. Anyways, just thought i’d say that.

Also, i saw someone said Robert had more talent in acting
then Taylor. Heres my opinion, yes Robert can act good. Though
in my opinion Taylor is a better actor, he has more variety, and a
really cool personality.

Don’t get me wrong Robert can act too.

i think if they do replace taylor it should be with steven strait, he is what i thought of as jacon in the beginning and he could do so much for the mature aspect of the jacob character. yeah, taylor was really good but he is also the immature, kiddish side of jacob and idk if he could pull off the 20-yr old side. Steven Strait is so much hotter also, the really should replace Kristen Stewart though, that would make all the rest of the movies so much better. She can’t act at all and she brings nothing to the character.

Um just to let everyone know, he’s not the only one being replaced, as for the main characters, no one is returning except for Pattinson and Stewart as Edward and Bella, everyone else is being recast. I hate sequels in which the characters are recast, it’s ridiculous, if that is what they plan on doing then there should be no movie in the first place, especially any sequels.
