DJ AM released from the hospital

Sept. 29, 2008

Nine days after surviving a deadly plane crash, popular musician Adam Michael Goldstein, known as DJ AM, has been released from the hospital.

Goldstein, 35, was sent to Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga. after the plane he, former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker were flying in crashed during take-off at the airport in Columbia, S.C.

Four people were killed in the crash including the crew.

Last night, Barker’s business partner and hip-hop producer Jermaine Dupri told reporters that it is likely that Barker will be released from the hospital as well within the next two weeks.

Goldstein was said to have suffered second and third-degree burns to his upper body and head from the fire that occurred after the plane crashed.
