The last man on earth is not alone.

Warner Brothers Pictures recently released the trailer for “I am Legend,” staring Will Smith.

“My name is Robert Neville. I am a survivor living in New York City. If there is anybody out there…anybody. Please. You are not alone.”

The action/thriller stars Smith (The Pursuit of Happiness) and Salli Richardson and will be released in theaters world wide December 14.

The flick was adapted from the 1954 novel by Richard Matheson.

Will Smith has man-handled some aliens in Men In Black I & II and Independence day, but how will he work with Vampires?

Is America’s movie going audience ready for another “last-man-on-earth-but-there-lots-of-creatures-around-with-limited-people-to-fight-back-and-save-the-world” movie?
