Suicide Girls go naked against fur

Feb. 15, 2008

“I’m very anti-fur … I think that it’s just a crime to kill an innocent animal so that you can wear a pelt on your back,” said SuicideGirls founder Missy Suicide. “Animal rights is something that I feel very passionately about, as do many of the girls.”

Missy and nearly 40 of her fellow SuicideGirls bare it all for peta2 and the anti-fur movement in a series of provocative advertisements starting on Valentine’s Day.

The girls are tauting the slogans “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” and “Ink, Not Mink” to get their message across.

The sexy ladies join the company of Eva Mendes, Charlize Theron, Meg & Dia, Pink, Tegan & Sara, Steve-O, David Cross, Mates of State, and Tommy Lee in the vocal anti-fur movement.

peta2 is the youth division of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. More ads will appear on their MySpace page in the coming days.
