Just came on CNN – stating Clinton will not be VP – if that is true
BIG, BIG MISTAKE. They state it is Biden. How many primary elections did he win? Sad, if it’s true. If that is the case, I’ll be voting 3rd party because my vote was so disrespected by the democratic nominee, IF this is true. Hope not……fingers crossed.

Living in Florida, I know many who voted for her; they will not vote the Obama ticket if she is not on it. Period. I don’t think Biden is very interested (but I guess they could swap plagiarized speeches) and Richardson might attract some Hispanics but not the blue collar workers of Ohio or elsewhere like Clinton, of which he desperately needs. If Obama does not pick Hillary I think the story that he decided to run for president after being hit in the head with a rock might just be true; for no thinking minded person would need a slap on the head to see the obvious. It is the only guaranteed winning ticket. It would totally unite the party (I still personally wish it was the other way around). He needs those 18M votes. If he doesn’t pick HRC he could end up in November saying “Wow, I could have had a Hillary!”

I totally agree – without Hillary on the ticket, Obama would be taking too big of a risk. Hillary provides the power to put up a decent fight and beat the pants off McCain. Let’s HOPE Obama has the common sense to use the Clinton’s power! He would be a fool not to.

America is a WIN culture. This country IS that dumb and spiteful and I can already hear the echo of a failed November: “If he had reached out to Hillary….if he had chose Clinton….only Clinton could have pushed him over the top….”The Death of the American Dream? I am not a Hillary supporter: I fought them on the Blogs and everywhere else I could draw a rhetorical sword: But the fact is, Barack *needs* the Clinton Name, he needs the luster, and the Democratic Party NEEDS America’s women.

If you want to see atrocity, put Mr. Warmonger/Bush on Crystal Meth in the White House. Me, I’m perfectly willing to throw Hillary a shotgun wedding reception. She’s not that bad of a gal, anyway.

And just imagine what she’ll do to McCain’s VP in the debates. They’ll have to carry out the little bits of him in a Hefty garbage bag.

Now is not the time for Bayh or Bidden: The Democratic Party, the WHOLE Democratic Party, needs Hillary.

Obama should beef up his personal security if he puts the Clintons a heartbeat away from the presidency. If her supporters are TRUE Democrats, they won’t vote for 4 more years of the same Bush-type policies. If this country is that dumb that it spiteful, bitter voters would vote against keeping our jobs from going overseas and to continue to kill our soldiers in pointless wars, then it deserves everything it brings on itself.

I disagree. If Obama wants to rule his white house, hillary is the worst choice. he wants to keep his perception as a washington outsider? Why would he pick a washington INSIDER as his veep? I think it would be a mistake. This also neglects to mention the BAGGAGE that hillary brings. Hillary, should stay in the senate, in her safe seat, and work towards becoming majority leader. She’s much better in a policy setting not so much in an executive one.

FINALLY an opinion that is not biased. I am so sick of reading “pundits” say that she is a “long-shot.” SHE is the best candidate for a win.

You can’t divide the Democratic Party and ignore it.

He needs to get over any insecurities he has and see that this is the only way. His slip in the polls will rebound and more INSTANTLY after announcing her as his VP.

He keeps saying he wants to change the face of DC…I think that a black/woman would certainly fall under those guidelines… and Biden’s 35 years in DC is a stark contrast to “change in Washington.”

Thank you for going against the current “experts” of the media and putting these concepts out there publicly!

There is only one reason for Obama not to choose Hillary as VP. It’s his security. There are over 17 people which have brought the Clintons during the last 20 years into big troubles and who ended up with suicide. After the near crash of Hillarys plane one month ago with Barack and his crew in it lended by her to the Obama campaing I simply can’t imagine that Barack would risk for his life sake to choose Hillary as his vp.
