Paul McCartney recently asked people in Britain to not eat meat on Mondays. This is a small thing to ask but can potentially make a huge difference if enough people participate. Obviously a lot of people will refuse to go vegetarian/vegan completely, but they may be encouraged to at least spend one day participating in saving the planet.
