		<description>Global warming is often misunderstood.  The Danville, VT resident complaining that, last January, 2008, the river hadn&#039;t frozen, was cited as an example that global warming (aka climate change) was the cause.  One wonders how a degree or two of global warming in the past century kept the river from freezing.

Today, January 1, 2009, the Danville temperature is forecast to be 9 hi and -8 lo.  Perhaps this means that global warming has stopped or is still debatable.  Perhaps some folks confuse global warming with local warming.</description>

If the debate is still out, why are so many deniers sure we don&#039;t have an impact? Hoping maybe?</description>
