I’m sure most of you have seen this – a blog post by former NBA player Paul Shirley regarding Haitian relief. Here’s a small blurb. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll know what it’s about after reading this. Or you probably got it from the headline. Either way…read if you like:
“It is not outside the realm of imagination to think that the citizens of a country might be able to: A) avoid putting themselves into a situation that might result in such catastrophic loss of life. And B) provide for their own aid, in the event of such a catastrophe.”
