Country’s fate in hands of … the Washington Redskins?

Nov. 4, 2008

If history is any indication, Sen. Barack Obama will be our next president.

For 70 years, the Redskins have been cosmically aligned with American voters.

Since 1936, every time the Redskins lose their last game before election day, the party that won the popular vote in the previous election loses.

If the ‘Skins win, the party the majority of Americans backed last election wins.

Last night, the Redskins lost 23-6.

But in this regard, the Redskins are undefeated, a perfect 17-0.

Let’s see if they get that 18th win tonight.
