As a patriotic American, I hope and pray that Obama wins this election by a landslide. For all our sake, educate yourselves on the issues and about the candidates. You will find that there is simply no comparison and Barack Obama is the clear choice if you want a better America, or any America at all. I cannot emphasize enough how dangerous John McCain, Sarah Palin, Cindy McCain, and Todd Palin are to the future of this country. We are now witnessing the culmination of almost 30 years of the Republican Party destroying this country for the benefit of the few at the top. Anyone who thinks John McCain is any different has not educated themselves on the issues or candidates. I do not want a bomber in the Whitehouse who makes knee-jerk decisions. I do not want alaskan anarchists runing the federal government. These people are fascists by every definition of the word. Lastly, I don’t want my elected representatives taking their cues from witch hunters.

Jeni Hendrix, I agree. Palin’s speech was captivating, but for some wrong reasons. She attacked Obama on a level that was classic low-blow politics. Also, I don’t know if you saw, but Giuliani insulting Obama’s history as a community organizer was simply degrading.

Both the speech and the video collages seemed to put too much concentration on America’s past, and not enough on America’s future.

But at least McCain’s speech didn’t completely distort the truth like Palin’s speech. I personally still can’t get over Palin’s pretentious comment against community organizers. Without community organizers, we wouldn’t have communities! Period!

Obama graduated from Harvard Law, as editor of Law Review, and decided to take a $10,000 job, to work with churches and help people who lost their jobs as steel mills and factories shut down all over Chicago.

To put down community organizing is just plain disrespectful to a large group of people who work 60+ hours a week to make sure everyone’s got food on their tables and people are able to take care of their families.
