NEW YORK — According to the Associated Press, Will Smith was forced to relocate the gigantic trailer on Wednesday when shooting “Men in Black III” since residents of Manhattan’s Soho district had complained that the 53-foot double-decker trailer was extremely taking up too much space in their neighborhood and the trailer was releasing the noise and fumes. That afternoon, Columbia Pictures removed the trailer and the film is still scheduled to continue shooting in the area through Friday.

When New York Post asked Smith about the issue, however, he couldn’t stop laughing and said “It’s hilarious,” the source reported.

A statement from Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting officially stated, “To balance the interests of the production and the neighborhood, we have instructed ‘Men in Black 3’ to relocate the trailer to a private lot.”
