Your blog was very well-written and gave me something to think about. I think we have different ideas about how to reach equality. Just an slight editing note: writing “in my humble opinion” is very weak.

Also, to the commenter, not every pro-lifer thinks the mother’s life shouldn’t be saved. And, be honest, what proportion of abortions are performed to save the mother’s life? I’m not talking about the huge changes a woman or couple has to make when a baby comes into their lives. I’m talking about heart-stopping, life or death.

Sigh. Pro-choice people value life over choice too. The difference is the pro-choice people don’t think the mother’s life is less valuable than the baby’s. Pro-lifers think abortion should not be a choice, even if having the baby would mean the mother’s death.
